M&M Cookies- Take 2

The last time I made M&M cookies, they tasted great, but ended up very thin and chewy. This time I went for a thicker, softer version to satisfy my craving. Delicious!
What cookie are you in the mood for today?
Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour (plus about 2 Tbsp)
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup margarine, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
3/8 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 package M&Ms

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add the egg and beat well. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in M&Ms. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Yields 18 cookies.

  1. These look great! I've just made another batch of apricot and cherry cookies on special request. Think I'd prefer M&M cookies :)
